About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Adjuster to join our Property Large Loss team at Intact Financial Corporation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and investigate large and complex commercial property claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including counsel, consultants, and experts, to determine liability and assess damages.
- Mentor and guide regional file handlers to ensure consistent and effective claims handling.
- Develop and implement strategies to identify potential risks, hazards, and trends, and share feedback and lessons learned with stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service to brokers, customers, and colleagues.
- Deliver key performance indicators related to loss development, loss adjustment expenses, claims leakage control, and expense management.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in handling large and complex commercial property claims.
- Appropriate knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements applicable to the position.
- Undergraduate degree or CIP designation (asset).
- Valid driver's license.
