At McCann Health Canada, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Writer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare advertising agency, you'll play a crucial role in developing high-quality medical content that drives meaningful connections with our clients' audiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating medical content to produce a range of deliverables, including emails, videos, voice-overs, detail aids, and ads.
  • Overseeing and maintaining consistency of key messaging across rebranding efforts for patient support programs.
  • Striving for writing excellence to produce clear, accurate, scientifically sound, and strategically aligned materials that meet project briefs and client needs.
  • Closely collaborating with copywriters, art directors, and agency partners to ensure seamless content creation.
  • Reviewing materials from other writers (including freelancers) for scientific accuracy, written quality, style, suitability for the audience, and strategic alignment.

About You:

  • Extensive experience in a similar medical writing role within a healthcare advertising or medical communications agency.
  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Passion for the healthcare space and creative products.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Knowledge of US pharma advertising rules and regulations a plus.
