Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Baking Technician to join our esteemed establishment, COBS Bread Bakery. This role is essential in ensuring the creation of high-quality baked goods that meet our customers' expectations.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare various doughs for an assortment of baked items including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, following established recipes or special requests.
  • Execute the baking process for mixed doughs and batters.
  • Instruct and guide staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Manage special orders with precision.
  • Decorate and frost cakes and other baked products to enhance presentation.
  • Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Operate baking machinery and equipment efficiently.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination is essential.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads as required.
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
