Food Service Manager

SUN SET GRILL is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Lead a team of kitchen staff to prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize downtime.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and physically demanding conditions.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Organized: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Work Term: Permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Language: English.
