About the Role

Golderado Contracting Corp is seeking a skilled Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand technical guides, drawings, and specifications to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Utilize manual dexterity and carpentry tools safely to achieve precise results.
  • Lift up to 50lbs and work comfortably at heights.
  • Work in adverse weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements.
Requirements
  • Red Seal or 3rd or 4th year Journey Level Carpentry ticket is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of carpentry or equivalent experience is required.
  • CSTS 09 and WHMIS 2015 certifications are necessary.
  • Fall Protection & Rescue, Aerial Platform, Confined Spaces, Rigging/Hoisting, and Hand Signals certifications would be an asset.
  • A reliable means of transportation is required.
  • Proficient English language skills are necessary.
