Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial guidance and risk management for endowments and expendable gifts
  • Collaborate with senior members in the Colleges and other departments to provide financial analysis and recommendations
  • Manage staff to support internal accounting, event revenue, and reconciliations
  • Provide clear analysis of complex financial and donor information for decision-making
  • Assist in supervising the books and records of various associations
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree (or College degree with several years of demonstrated work experience) combined with 3-6 years of experience in finance and accounting
  • CPA certification
  • Advanced knowledge of university community and related issues and challenges
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with peers and senior leaders
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and financial concepts, including managing books and records
  • Knowledge of financial legislative guiding principles and regulations
  • Ability to think and act quickly and effectively under pressure
  • Successful experience managing personnel
  • Extensive knowledge of database systems and financial statement reports
