Analysis of Technical Specifications

  1. Receive and scrutinize customer requests for quotes. Interpret technical drawings to determine necessary materials and processes.

Supplier Engagement

  1. Develop and sustain robust relationships with suppliers.
  2. Negotiate optimal pricing and lead times. Gather quotes for raw materials and secondary processing services such as painting, heat treatment, and plating.

Management of Bids

  1. Swiftly and accurately evaluate production and subcontracting expenses. Collaborate with internal teams and engage with customers to clarify project requirements.
  2. Organize and manage multiple quotation requests, ensuring completeness and timely submission.

Qualifications We Seek

  1. Educational background in mechanical engineering, supply chain management, project management, or a related discipline.
  2. Experience in cost estimation, purchasing management, or a similar capacity within the machining sector.
  3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  4. Strong communication and negotiation abilities in both French and English.
