Key Responsibilities:

As a Technical Procurement Specialist at Soucy, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our organization. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Technical Drawings Analysis: Receive and analyze customer quote requests, read and interpret drawings to identify required materials and treatments, and ensure accurate procurement cost estimates for machined parts manufacturing projects.
  • Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate for best prices and lead times, and obtain quotations for raw materials and secondary processing services.
  • Bid Management: Quickly and accurately assess production and subcontracting costs, collaborate with internal teams and communicate with customers to clarify requirements, and manage multiple requests for quotations in an organized manner.
