Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Property Administrator to support our Saint John Regional Office. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, and deliver exceptional customer service to our tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, records, and correspondence
  • Provide general administrative support, including reception duties, phone coverage, and tenant communication
  • Address tenant issues, manage leases, and handle eviction notices in a professional and timely manner
  • Prepare, administer, and monitor Excel spreadsheets for tracking inspections, projects, and data
  • Track tenant insurance coverage and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Process payables and receivables, including collection of outstanding rent
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar administrative role
  • Experience in the property management industry, with knowledge of real estate operations and regulations
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service, accounting, and collection experience are considered assets
  • Knowledge of Yardi property management software is considered an asset
