Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse - Barrie

Bayshore Integrated Care Solutions is seeking a passionate and caring Registered Practical Nurse to join our Barrie Transitional Care Unit.

Job Summary:

The Registered Practical Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to clients, ensuring their emotional, spiritual, physical comfort, and safety are met to the greatest possible extent. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide client care by utilizing observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Perform routine nursing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities to maintain current knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed/Registered Practical Nursing Program.
  • Current registration with the provincial licensing body.
  • Previous experience in the acute care sector or long-term care is an asset.
  • Demonstrated clinical competencies, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
