Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare in Barrie. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to our clients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide client care by utilizing observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Perform routine nursing duties, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current competencies and stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed/Registered Practical Nursing Program.
  • Current registration with the provincial licensing body.
  • Previous experience in the acute care sector or long-term care is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
