Job Description

About the Role:

The Human Resources Advisor will play a key role in supporting the development of human resources policies and programs at Cégep de Rimouski, with a focus on the Continuing Education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of human resources policies and programs.
  • Contribute to the recruitment process in various job categories.
  • Participate in the identification of human resources needs and recommend appropriate standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of various recruitment and talent attraction strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior staff, collaborate with professional, support, and teaching staff, and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and directives.
  • Develop various statistical reports and conduct studies, analyses of files, contracts, agreements, and other documents, provide advice, and make recommendations to improve them.
  • Prepare contracts and agreements and oversee their implementation.
  • Collect or transmit information or data necessary for the proper functioning of administration.

Requirements:

  • Terminal undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as human resources management or industrial relations.
  • Particular requirements:
    • Team player.
    • Excellent communication and animation skills.
    • Experience in recruitment.
    • Knowledge of digital recruitment.
    • Judgment and organizational skills.
    • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft, Google suite, payroll and financial tracking system, candidate management system, etc.).
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
