Position Overview:
The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and executing all project-related tasks under the guidance of the Director of Product Development, ensuring the seamless execution and ongoing management of both new and existing initiatives for our clientele.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee the product development lifecycle by collaborating with relevant cross-functional teams (R&D, procurement, design, manufacturing) to outline and develop project scope, deliverables, resource needs, budget, and timelines for both new and existing products/brands.
- Engage with clients to grasp their vision and ensure their requirements are fulfilled through consistent communication.
- Assist in crafting project proposals, timelines, and schedules (knowledge of Gantt charts is advantageous).
- Track and monitor project progress, addressing any challenges that may arise.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects, providing updates on project status, progress, and potential risks to all stakeholders.
- Develop compelling, professional presentations to help clients visualize the potential of their concepts.
- Maintain ongoing support throughout the program's lifecycle by keeping regular contact with clients, monitoring inventory levels and usage to facilitate effective planning and forecasting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A degree or diploma focused on business, science, or a related field is essential.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Project Coordinator/Manager capacity with an emphasis on project execution is required.
- Project Management Institute, PMP Certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Outstanding organizational abilities, including meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Customer-focused and results-driven with a strong desire for success.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Experience in manufacturing, particularly within the cosmetics/personal care sector, is beneficial.
- Able to perform tasks independently and with minimal supervision within a team setting.
