As a Lead Transit Consultant, you will collaborate closely with the Transit Director to facilitate the creation and execution of strategic plans aimed at improving transit service efficiency and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer strategic insights and specialized knowledge to aid in the formulation of departmental policies.
  • Oversee stakeholder relations and navigate complex scenarios on behalf of the Transit Director.
  • Craft communication strategies to effectively articulate key initiatives.
  • Forge partnerships with both public and private sector organizations.
  • Perform market analysis and operational evaluations to enhance transit offerings.
  • Work in conjunction with various departments to ensure effective planning and implementation of projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation-related positions.
  • Experience in change management and transit operations is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities with the proficiency to assess policies and practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Compensation: $94,000 - $126,643 annually

Work Schedule: 35 hours per week

Location: Mississauga, ON
