We're seeking a highly skilled Project Director, Transit Infrastructure to join our Rail/Transit practice. This role will play a critical part in the development and growth of our Transit/Rail practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams for preliminary and detail design transit facility projects for municipal clients as a Project Manager or Project Director.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of project management from proposal to close-out, including managing teams, sub-consultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Interface with GHD Design and design team (potentially located internationally).
  • Accountable for contractor questions, reviews shop drawings, and attends sites during construction as required.
  • Prepare, track, and administer project budgets.
  • Liaise with clients, participate in business development, and promotional activities for the company.

Requirements:

  • P. Eng or Registered Architect in Ontario.
  • Accredited with PMP certification (or working towards).
  • Experience working for Regional Municipalities or Local Transit Agencies.
  • 15+ years of project management experience on multi-discipline engineering teams with experience in transit facilities, rail, stations, electrification, and signaling.
  • Project delivery in alternate project delivery (P3, DB, PDB), and experience in managing teaming arrangements with contractors and consultants.

  • Rail and Transit Lead in Ontario.
