Position Overview:

Our client, a reputable civil engineering and design consultancy, is focused on delivering innovative solutions for various projects throughout Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Principal and management team to conduct comprehensive studies related to servicing and stormwater management.
  • Design and strategize stormwater management systems and land development initiatives, including drafting plans and engaging in detailed design processes.
  • Assist in the formulation of master and functional servicing studies for secondary draft plans and site plans.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and leadership to both internal teams and clients.
  • Engage with clients, municipal bodies, and conservation authorities to facilitate the construction process, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and within budgetary constraints.
  • Support the development and mentorship of junior staff as required.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Civil3D, PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, and HEC-RAS is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in servicing and stormwater management related to land development engineering is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid registration or the ability to register as a Professional Engineer or Civil Engineering Technologist in Alberta.
  • Exemplary professional conduct in all forms of communication is essential.
  • Capability to lead a multidisciplinary team in the execution of preliminary servicing and stormwater management studies.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide, mentor, and manage junior team members effectively.
  • A valid license and the capacity to conduct site visits as necessary.
Compensation:

Competitive salary range of $85,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
