About the Role

CLEAResult is a leading provider of energy efficiency solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team. As an Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission of creating a sustainable, equitable, and carbon-neutral energy-efficient future for our communities and the planet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residential homes to recommend energy-saving upgrades, including new fridges, attic insulation, heat pumps, and high-efficiency gas furnaces, in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Advise participants on energy-saving tips and best practices.
  • Install energy-saving products, such as lightbulbs and aerators.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for participants.
  • Travel throughout British Columbia as required, with flexible options provided, and receive a daily per diem.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in energy evaluations for homes and installing energy-saving kits.
  • High School graduate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Familiarity with energy conservation programs.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Building science and home inspection experience is an asset.
  • Construction/Building envelope courses are an asset.
  • HVAC experience and F280 knowledge is an asset.
