The Camp Security Team is integral in preventing and identifying activities that may endanger personnel, assets, and operations. Their duties encompass safeguarding the project against various potential threats including accidents, criminal activities, and unethical behavior.
Key Responsibilities:- Access Control: Perform comprehensive verification checks for all individuals and vehicles entering the premises.
- ETMP Verification: Ensure all equipment, tools, and materials exiting the site are properly verified.
- Inspections and Searches: Execute inspections of all individuals, vehicles, equipment, and cargo entering the site, with detailed searches conducted randomly or for specific reasons.
- Patrols: Carry out random mobile patrols of perimeters, work sites, docks, and facilities.
- ID and Badging: Register all individuals and vehicles entering the site, issuing ID cards or vehicle passes as necessary.
- Traffic Enforcement: Employ radar and other tools to uphold traffic regulations.
- Policy Enforcement: Ensure adherence to all Project policies through security operations.
- Traffic Control: Manage traffic during peak times, incidents, oversized loads, and other scenarios.
- Emergency/Security Dispatch: Provide 24/7 communication regarding incidents.
- Incident Response: Lead security incidents and conduct investigations as required.
- Statistics: Gather data on various activities and topics for analytical purposes.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent English communication skills for report writing.
- Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License.
- Ability to foster strong relationships with team members, clients, and emergency services.
- Enthusiasm for physical activity and capability to work in diverse conditions.
- Technological proficiency for reporting and communication purposes.
- All shifts consist of 12-hour rotations on a 2-week on, 2-week off schedule.
- Accommodations are provided during shifts.
- Compensation: $22.50/hour.
