About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Developer to join our team at Home Hardware Stores. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable software solutions that enhance our In-Store experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality code for data migration, automation, and API-powered applications.
  • Integrate with internal and external APIs and databases.
  • Design and implement REST APIs.
  • Leverage a range of technologies including Python, C#, JavaScript, JSON, HTML/CSS, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Apply advanced design patterns and technologies to develop maintainable and scalable code.
  • Research and integrate best-of-breed technologies and frameworks.
  • Identify and fix bugs and errors.
  • Perform design and code reviews.
  • Practice defensive programming and write production-grade code.
  • Work with Agile software lifecycle methodologies.
  • Create unit and integration tests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience with integration patterns, front-end technologies, and data access.
  • Proficiency with technologies such as Python, C#, JavaScript, JSON, HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with modern source control systems and CI/CD approaches.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs.
