About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Bourbon Street Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.

Chef Management

Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of the restaurant.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.

Quality Control

Inspect and taste all dishes to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Staff Training

Train and develop the skills of our kitchen staff to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role

Skills

Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation

Language

English
