At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining effective reports in Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports in Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, and other platforms to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Data Research and Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct research and meet with internal stakeholders to thoroughly understand business problems and reporting deliverables.
- Process Improvement: Think critically to offer effective solutions and improvements to data collection and report generation processes.
- Presentations and Communication: Create presentations showcasing reporting insights and actionable strategies to stakeholders.
- Data Warehousing and ETL/ELT: Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data processing and integration, and assist with the development of data warehouse objects in SQL/Microsoft Azure.
- Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor the performance of reports, implement improvements as required, and ensure data integrity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL, Power BI (DAX, Power Query, and Report Builder), and Excel.
- Data Warehousing and Database Management: Experience with data warehousing, creating/using data models, and managing databases.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Highly analytical mindset with the ability to prepare reports including descriptive statistics.
- Communication and Technical Skills: Ability to communicate technical requirements and reporting insights effectively.
- ETL/ELT and Big Data Solutions: Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools, with hands-on experience in building pipelines, and proficiency or practical experience with big data solutions for data processing and analysis.
- Problem-Solving and Time Management: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to offer innovative solutions, and excellent prioritization and time management skills.
- Independence and Motivation: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with limited direction.
