About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hair Salon Supervisor to join our team at Hair Hut Barber Shop. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our salon, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Operations: Schedule work for our team of stylists and barbers, ensuring that all appointments are met and that our salon runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out on our equipment and facilities, ensuring that they are always in good working order.
  • Client Services: Assist clients with special needs, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels, ensuring that our standards are consistently met.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed, ensuring that our salon is always well-stocked.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
  • Leadership: Supervise office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Work Environment

As a Hair Salon Supervisor at Hair Hut Barber Shop, you will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure. You will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing and walking, and will need to be able to work efficiently and effectively in a busy salon environment.
