**Job Summary**

Intertape Polymer Group is seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright/Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform daily machinery checks to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
  • Clean and lubricate machinery to maintain optimal performance
  • Correct issues with machinery, including removing and replacing defective parts
  • Install new machinery and equipment
  • Educate production workers on preventative maintenance techniques
  • Prepare maintenance reports to track equipment performance
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed
  • Conduct general machining tasks
  • Suggest future repairs and maintenance to prevent equipment failure
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain parts and supplies
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

**Requirements:**

  • Interprovincial Qualification (Red Seal) is required
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is required
  • Strong manual dexterity and mechanical skills
  • Precision machining, welding, and fabrication skills
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and problem-solve malfunctions
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with plastics or converting machinery is an asset
  • Work planning and continuous improvement experience is an asset
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • A good sense of risk management
  • Ability to work flexible and on-call shifts
