Position Summary:

As a prominent multidisciplinary consulting firm, we emphasize a collaborative approach to architectural services. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead design initiatives to create innovative and functional architectural solutions for Public Safety & Justice clients from inception to completion.
  2. Oversee project management throughout the design phase.
  3. Prepare design and contract documentation, ensuring thorough coordination and quality assurance.
  4. Establish and uphold standards of design excellence.
  5. Engage in business development activities, including marketing and proposal preparation.
  6. Maintain high technical quality standards in all deliverables.
  7. Foster collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  8. Support the construction administration team during project execution.
  9. Manage multiple projects within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A University Degree in Architecture.
  • Registration as an Architect with the appropriate governing body – a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience collaborating with Public Safety and Justice clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Over 10 years of architectural experience in the Public Safety and Justice sector.
  • Registration with relevant architectural associations.
  • LEED certification and experience with sustainable design practices.
  • Proven project leadership skills and experience managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and construction detailing.
  • Proficiency in architectural software, including REVIT and BIM.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Additional Information:

Security clearance may be required on a project-specific basis. This position allows for hybrid or remote work arrangements.
