About the Role

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) department at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in the Americas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing actionable financial reports and analysis to assist GBIS and SG management in steering the financial performance of the Americas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidate financials for management reporting and lead the Americas Budget process.
  • Prepare forecasts, produce financial trend analysis, certify GBIS costs, and contribute to monthly closings.
  • Ensure alignment with norms around performance management and analyze and present GBIS financial performance to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team in New York and the Accounts Payables (AP) team and Legal entity controllers in Canada to ensure optimal quality in the production of reports and other input data in the FP&A processes.
Requirements
  • Accounting knowledge, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with tight deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong system skills and knowledge for Financial Modelling, PowerBI Report Creation, Managing Data, Power Query Data manipulation, and Alteryx.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
