Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Machine Monitoring (Primary Focus):

  • Overseeing Expert Alerts across all locations, ensuring accuracy through customer interactions, generating Work Orders based on alerts received, and relaying information to relevant Service Departments as necessary. Monitoring Expert Alerts until resolution.
  • Managing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) via the Machine Health Dashboard, focusing on Critical and High DTCs for designated machines. Confirming DTC accuracy through customer engagement, creating Work Orders as needed, and communicating DTC details to the appropriate Service Departments. Tracking repairs initiated by DTCs until completion.
  • Utilizing resources such as Service Advisor Remote, Remote Display Access, and Dealer Technical Assistance Center (DTAC) to verify the accuracy of Expert Alerts and DTCs.
  • Remotely deploying necessary equipment software in collaboration with customers and Service Departments to ensure successful implementation.
  • Ensuring that JD metrics for Machine Health Monitoring exceed established targets.
  • Monitoring the movement of Modular Telematics Gateways (MTGs) within and outside the organization.
  • Coordinating the movement of MTGs and equipment as required.
  • Working additional hours during peak times, including weekends and on-call shifts as necessary.

Tool Management (Primary Focus):

  • Overseeing tooling requirements across all locations.
  • Managing manufactured tooling needs, collaborating with locations and external vendors to ensure compliance with OHS standards.
  • Monitoring Connected Crane alerts and reporting findings to relevant locations and the Pattison AG Safety Manager.

Technical Communication (Secondary Focus):

  • Providing support as a Technical Communicator for Technicians, Service Managers, and IS teams to assist in diagnosing and resolving critical product issues.
  • Monitoring DTAC case statuses and advising Service and IS Departments on necessary actions.
  • Documenting all pertinent information within the CCMS case prior to submission to John Deere.
  • Coordinating CCMS cases between Technicians and John Deere factory support as needed.
  • Collaborating with John Deere to identify and resolve emerging product quality concerns.
  • Assisting in training staff on CCMS and DTAC usage.
  • Working additional hours during peak periods, including weekends and on-call shifts as required.

Standard Job Pricing (Secondary Focus):

  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of the Standard Job Pricing database for all product lines.
  • Training staff on job code usage and Expert Service applications.
  • Supporting the development and pricing of service packages.
  • Assisting in the creation of ValueMax inspections.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office and Dealer Business Systems.
  • Self-management capabilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret reports.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 5+ years of experience in agricultural dealership operations with a technical background.
  • Familiarity with Connected Support tools.
