Patient Flow Coordinator

At the University Health Network, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Flow Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient flow through various stages of their visit, including registration, testing, and follow-up appointments.
- Transcribe physician orders and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
- Coordinate the scheduling of patient appointments, including retrieving charts from Health Records and activating patient information in the computer.
- Perform cross-functional duties as assigned or requested.
- Completion of Grade XII or recognized equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year related work experience.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer software applications preferably in a Microsoft Office environment.
