We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our Parkland Station Yard - Ocean Hall team in Moncton, New Brunswick.
As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance duties and scheduled preventive maintenance work on physical facilities, equipment, and grounds.
You will also be responsible for assembling, moving, delivering, setting up, and picking up furniture and equipment, as well as performing general repair work on structures, patching and painting damaged walls.
Additionally, you will assist the Plant, Building & Safety Manager in the inspection of buildings, grounds, and equipment, and carry out preventive maintenance program actions.
You will have access to the PM Worx program for Preventive Maintenance schedules and to process work orders, and will request necessary materials, supplies, parts, and tools required and maintain control of storage and use.
You will take every precaution that is reasonable in the circumstances to ensure the health and safety of employees, residents, and all others in the workplace.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a High School Diploma or equivalent education, and 1-2 years' experience in construction or building maintenance.
You should have knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety legislation, and advanced proficiency in English is required, with French considered an asset.
You will be required to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire, and have a passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care.
