About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechatronics Project Engineer to join our Sea-Doo R&D team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and validation of systems for our recreational vehicle product line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the development of new vehicle functions for various vehicle control modules;
  • Perform physical validation of vehicles to confirm technical solutions, taking into account established norms and standards, as well as test plans;
  • Collaborate with design, production, purchasing, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering teams;
  • Develop technical requirements, electrical diagrams, and electrical systems engineering specifications;
  • Guide the work of technicians/designers to meet development objectives;
  • Resolve production and networking issues and follow up with suppliers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent;
  • Good understanding and ability to integrate electrical, electronic, software, and mechanical principles;
  • Initiative, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and to innovate;
  • Experience with Catia/SmarTeam, CRETA, and INCA software (an asset);
  • Manual and motor dexterity to perform electrical repairs and physical tests on water;
  • Available to travel occasionally.
