Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the excellence of our SenSaaS platform, which is designed to meet the evolving needs of our clients. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing both exploratory and automated testing strategies.
Key ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the VP of Research and Development, the Quality Assurance Software Engineer will:
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and engineering documents to provide insightful feedback.
- Develop comprehensive and structured test plans and documentation.
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities effectively.
- Identify, document, and track software defects meticulously.
- Conduct thorough regression testing post-resolution of identified issues.
- Establish and implement testing processes for both new and existing products to align with customer expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including software developers and business analysts, to ascertain system requirements.
- Monitor testing outcomes and communicate results of testing campaigns.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A college diploma in computer technology or a relevant combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in creating clear and detailed test plans and cases.
- Familiarity with document management systems and ERP systems is advantageous.
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- A genuine interest in emerging technologies.
- Flexibility in adapting work hours to meet project deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position with a standard workweek. We offer the possibility of remote or hybrid work arrangements.
