Position Overview

T DOT AUTOMATION INC is seeking a dedicated Robotics Technologist to join our team. This role involves working on various mechanical installations and construction projects, contributing to the design and implementation of advanced robotic systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a relevant field.
Work Environment

The position will require flexibility as it involves various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation of mechanical installations and construction initiatives.
  • Support the preparation of designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools effectively.
  • Develop tools, molds, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Draft contracts and tenders as needed.
  • Establish standards and schedules for project execution.
  • Oversee maintenance programs and the operation of mechanical facilities.
  • Monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Conduct testing of machines and equipment.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor.
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols.
Specialization Areas
  • Expertise in Robotics or Controls.
  • Experience with Industrial Robotics.
Travel Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
