Job Summary

Woodstock Grocers is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds
