About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at David Hung Tak Chiu. As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities
    • Assist clients with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Help with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Provide Companionship
    • Engage in conversations and activities with clients to combat loneliness and isolation
    • Accompany clients on outings and errands
  • Support with Household Tasks
    • Shop for food and household supplies
    • Assist with laundry and linen management
  • Monitor and Report
    • Monitor clients' health and well-being
    • Report any concerns or changes to management
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
  • Availability
    • Available for shift or on-call work
