Key Responsibilities- Concrete Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth and even finish.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
- Surface Preparation: Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure a precise finish.
- Finishing Techniques: Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, including polishing and texturing.
- Curing and Protection: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
- Documentation and Communication: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate completion of projects.
- Work Conditions: This role requires working in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
- Physical Capabilities: The successful candidate will be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required, and possess excellent attention to detail.
- Personal Qualities: We are looking for an accurate, client-focused, and team-oriented individual who is committed to delivering high-quality results.
- Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week.
