Job Summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a highly qualified Professor of International Relations and Global Politics to join our faculty. As a Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of international relations and global politics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop courses in international relations and global politics
  • Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional pursuits
  • Contribute to the development of academic programs and research initiatives in the field
  • Engage in scholarly research and publication

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Ph.D. coursework in the field of international relations and global politics
  • Teaching experience in the field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong research and publication record
  • Ability to develop and teach courses in multiple formats (e.g. online, in-person)
