About the Role

SPUD is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that engages our customers and drives sales across our online and retail channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives and drives customer engagement and retention.
  • Partner with our leadership team to advise on marketing initiatives, brand strategy, and customer attraction, retention, and engagement.
  • Work with our Merchandising team to improve our online and retail basket value.
  • Collaborate with our Finance team to relaunch our Membership program and drive lifetime value and retention.
  • Partner with our Product Management team to improve our online customer retention in the early stages of customer lifecycle development.
  • Work with agency partners and media vendors to attract and retain new customers and improve our New Customer Order.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage our marketing team through OKRs and strive for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Implement new brand positioning across all efforts and channels and guide all departments to align to new positioning.
  • Monitor and help elucidate industry trends and help our Senior Management Team set core priorities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience and education.
  • A minimum of three to five years in a Director-level position, or equivalent, specifically in e-commerce, retail, or B2C Marketing.
  • 10 years of Marketing experience, ideally in online/ecommerce and/or retail organizations that reflect high-touch offerings with consumers.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO/SEM, analytics, and Google Adwords.
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, managing multiple priorities at once.
  • Collaboration and business case building will be key skills you need to be able to demonstrate.
  • Analytical – ability to understand and present data to both prove and disprove strategies and opportunities.
