Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Birch Kitchen and Bar. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards of our restaurant.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we are always well-stocked and able to meet customer demand.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on restaurant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
