About the Role:

As a Health Care Aide, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized care and support to patients who require short-term assistance or ongoing support. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting patients with mobility, nutrition, and safety needs
  • Assisting with organized activities and programs to promote patient engagement and well-being
  • Observing and reporting on patient mood, health, and wellbeing

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Completion of a Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire
  • Active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support
