Position Summary

As a Web Applications Developer within our IT department, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining custom web applications that power various business functions across the organization. We seek a highly motivated and results-oriented developer who thrives on tackling diverse challenges, possesses meticulous attention to detail, and excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Transform functional specifications into robust and user-friendly web applications.
  • Design and construct efficient databases to support the functionality of our web applications.
  • Ensure the ongoing maintenance and optimization of existing web applications.
  • Develop and test scripts as needed to enhance application performance and security.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers to provide regular updates on project progress and deliverables.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by actively participating in discussions and sharing knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrate at least one year of hands-on experience in web application development, utilizing C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, software design patterns, and the .NET MVC framework.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of database architecture and design principles, particularly within the Microsoft SQL Server environment.
  • Experience in developing e-commerce applications and implementing web application security best practices is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with popular web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is an asset.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving industry trends.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both French and English.
