Job Summary
Matrox is seeking a skilled Web Applications Developer to join our IT department. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and maintain custom web applications that meet the needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust and user-friendly web-based applications from functional specifications.
- Design and create databases for web applications.
- Maintain existing web applications and ensure they are up-to-date and secure.
- Code and test scripts as needed to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Communicate project status and deliverables with the project manager.
- Stay current with developments in web applications and programming languages used.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least one year of experience in web application development using C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming, programming principles, and protocols (Net MVC, LINQ framework).
- Good understanding of database architecture and design using Microsoft SQL.
- Experience in ecommerce application development and web application security principles is an asset.
- Familiarity with major web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, is an asset.
- Eager to learn new skills and techniques.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks efficiently.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French.
