Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at All Kind Concrete Inc. as a Surface Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Estimation and Planning: Prepare tenders and quotations to estimate costs and materials required for projects.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it meets the required specifications.
- Quality Control: Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Work at Heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Training and Development: Instruct apprentices in the skills and techniques required for the role.
- Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Materials Management: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
- Project Management: Estimate costs and materials required for projects and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
- Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is essential to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Standing for extended periods is a requirement of the role.
