About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at IEDG Infrastructure & Energy Inc. as a key member of our purchasing and contracting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Contracting
    • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet business objectives
    • Manage and coordinate the purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and awarding contracts
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Oversee the entire supply chain, from procurement to delivery
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
    • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals
    • Provide guidance and support to team members
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including business leaders and operations teams
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
    • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and vendors
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and contracting
    • Proven track record of success in procurement and supply chain management
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and material requirements planning (MRP) systems
