Job Title: Personnel Recruitment Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Personnel Recruitment Officer to join our team at Vertical Staffing Resources Inc. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Collect and screen applicants, advising them on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and coordinate termination of employment process.
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
  • Recruit and hire staff.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and information technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
