Job Title: Automated Test Developer

Iron Systems is a leading provider of custom-built computing infrastructure platforms, delivering innovative solutions to customers worldwide. As an Automated Test Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated tests at multiple levels, including component, configuration item, subsystem, and system.
  • Modify existing automated tests to ensure high quality and performance.
  • Maintain automation testing frameworks and tools to support component-level testing, regression testing, and web user interface testing.
  • Write Gherkin and Cucumber scripts to automate testing.
  • Develop Jenkins scripts to run tests and provide recommendations for new tests and enhancements.
  • Support junior automated test developers and utilize a selenium grid for cross-browser testing.
  • Build and modify continuous delivery pipelines with GIT source control management and Jenkins automation server.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automated test development and programming.
  • Strong understanding of functional environments and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with Java, Cucumber, SQL, HTML, XPath, CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, browser developer tools, and testing web-based applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with government organizations.
  • Test automation development tools for web UI (e.g. Selenium).
  • Business-readable domain-specific languages (e.g. Gherkin).
  • Behavior-driven testing software, such as Cucumber, and SQL.
  • Content Management System such as Drupal.
