About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Commodities and Derivatives team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in working with our Regulatory and Compliance teams to gather requirements and coordinate regulatory BAU issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Regulatory and Compliance teams to gather requirements and coordinate regulatory BAU issues
  • Collaborate with Commodities Front Office Sales and Trading, as well as other groups (Middle and Back Office), to document requirements and gap analysis for commodities products
  • Work with other technology teams as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented
  • Develop and execute test plans and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in a business analyst role, with a focus on commodities and derivatives
  • Significant experience and knowledge of commodity markets in the US and Canada, including agriculture, oil, and natural gas
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements in commodities, including DFA (Dodd-Frank), Canadian, and MiFID II
  • Strong working experience with commodities trading systems
  • Knowledge of commodity instruments and their lifecycle (swaps, futures, options)
  • Technical skills, including SQL and Microsoft Office products
