WS & Company Ltd. is seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for arranging products according to planograms, establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, and negotiating prices and credit terms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal store displays
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices and credit terms
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand
  • Review requirements of the establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on industry trends
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Environment:

The Merchandiser will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
