About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Supervisor to join our team at Jones Outdoor Living. As a key member of our outdoor living team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of outdoor living spaces, including gardens, lawns, and hardscapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan and direct grounds maintenance projects, including planting, pruning, and landscaping.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of 1-2 people to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Operate and maintain a pick-up truck and other equipment as needed.
  • Design and Construction: Collaborate with designers and contractors to plan and execute landscape construction projects.
  • Client Communication: Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Logistics and Administration: Manage inventory, order materials, and maintain accurate records and logs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and steel-toed safety boots.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, initiative, judgement, and team player skills.
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job that requires frequent travel and working in fast-paced environments. You must be able to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
