Your Role as a Pharmacy Technician
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team at the Reactivation Care Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to medication dispensing and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including EPIC and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
