Grocery Store Clerk

About the Role:
The Grocery Clerk is a key member of our Thrifty Foods team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive shopping experience. As a Grocery Clerk, you will be the face of our store, working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure a safe and healthy shopping environment.
- Order, receive, and merchandise stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures.
- Provide superior customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Increase store sales by actively promoting featured products and engaging with customers to understand their shopping habits.
- Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Prepare customer orders and process department shrink as required.
- Participate in the training of junior staff and contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.
