Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Retail Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of our retail establishment. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers while managing a team effectively.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a supervisory role within a retail environment.
Work Environment
  • Located in a retail service establishment.
  • On-site customer service with a willingness to relocate as needed.
  • Regular travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Delegate tasks and assign duties to sales staff.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • Authorize payment transactions and manage merchandise returns.
  • Create and manage work schedules for staff.
  • Compile reports on sales performance, inventory management, and personnel issues.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply challenges.
  • Oversee inventory organization and maintenance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members.
  • Handle cash management and conduct performance evaluations.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of a team comprising 3-4 individuals.

Technical Skills

Proficient in using MS Outlook and other relevant technologies.

Work Conditions
